mortgage broker recc's for refi
I wanted to look into refinancing to see if it would be worth it for us. I contacted the mortgage broker we originally used when we bought our house, and we weren't really happy with him throughout the process, we only used him because he was BIL's friend... I emailed him recently asking about refi, and he told me its not worth it for me to refinance due to the closing costs, appraisal etc. but I guess I just wanted to get a second opinion.. we closed in June 2010 at a 5% interest rate and we put 20% down.. and now i'm seeing rates sometimes lower than 4%!
