Mosquito spraying, in the window/wall AC's and babies - what to do?
They are going to be spraying in our area the next few days.
I am not sure what to do about our AC's on the hotline they said that only the old AC's take air from the outside (or have the option to) - the newer AC's only take air from inside. THey said if your AC doesn't give you the inside/outside option it does NOT take air from the outside and is fine. But, I still see most people saying they are keeping their AC's off and what is the reason? Do you think that b/c the majority of the AC is outside and the stuff is still seeping in? And, what about then when you turn it on again?
I'm only asking b/c last night they did limited truck spraying in our area so we kept our windows closed and AC off for part of the night and it was BRUTAL for the kids - I have a 6 mo old and 3 yr old and even with the fans going they were sweating like crazy and their rooms were like saunas! That can't be good for them!

I would rather not keep the AC off but then again, don't want those chemicals seeping in....DS is 5 months old and gets super cranky if he's warm. Good question, I have a ped appointment this afternoon, I think I'll ask her what she thinks. I'll post her opinion later.
