Motorola Razr battery-anyone else's not hold a charge?

I'm debating getting a new battery or just charging it every night.

My phone is 3 years old and in great condition but the charge goes from full to the low battery beep within 36 hours and that's with about 15 minutes of talk time.

Anyone else have this?

Yes, mine and DHs did. I went on eBay and got a brand new battery for under 5 dollars including shipping. Good as new after that. Verizon wanted something like 30 or 40 dollars!

Dh's used to do that, he had to charge it all the time, mine wasn't as bad.
Verizon told him his phone is constantly looking for signal at work(he doesn't get good reception in the building) and that wears down the battery quick.

My friends and family who had those phones have the same complaints about the battery life.

Haven't had a battery issue yet. Mine phone is about 2-1/2 years old.

I've heard Razrs do not have a good battery life at all. You can pick up another battery and see if it helps.

I just had to replace my battery. Best Buy has them for $35. I have only had my phone for about a year. I can't wait to get rid of this phone.

i dont have that phone anymore, but when i did i had a horrible time with the battery life. sounds like you need a new battery.

i had that problem around the 1 1/2 to 2 year mark. I traded it in as soon as I qualified for a new phone. I hated the razor.

My phone is under a year old and I have to carry my charger with me EVERYWHERE because the damn thing dies so quickly.

Searching for a signal definitely drains the battery. I just keep my phone off at work now, which is annoying, but it searches all day and drains the battery.

yup, my razr was dead more than it wasn't. I was finally so fed up I bought the extended life battery. It doesn't have the sleek look anymore but it holds a charge really well.

Mine just started draining more quickly - it's around 2 years old. It's still manageable though so I am holding out (I had to take DH's because I broke mine and he got a new phone )

I had battery issues with my Razr before it was 2 years old.
ETA - I ultimately got rid of it.

I'm lucky if mine lasts a day and a half. DH has one too and has the same problem. My phone is about 2 years old and it's starting to drop calls a lot more too lately.

Had a battery issue with my Razr- bought a new battery, still didn't hold charge. Waited until my new every two was up and got the Env-2

Danielle and I both had that problem with our original RAZR's and the replacement phoines. It is a defect with that phone.

I have the same problem. Mine is about 2.5 years old. I'm getting a new phone (blackberry) for christmas.
