My only complaint is that the key pad is flat, which makes it difficult to dial sometimes.

That sux. The display is a little hard to see outside in the sunlight. I'll admit that.

me too, I think I usually go 4 without charging.
and I have no issues with the volume either.

Volume is possessed and I hate the flatness - it slips off my shoulder if I try to not use my hands for a second.
I don't have much of an issue with the battery life, it's always on, I never use it and usually plug it in to charge over the weekend.
I wouldn't recommend it though.

Yes, I have the pink Verizon one and I hate it. I think the buttons stink on it, the speaker phone doesn't work that well. I will be going back to LG when I can.
ETA after reading others posts, I want to add that my battery life is fine.

We just got rid of ours. We both hated it & had problems with them. The ringer is very low & we'd miss a lot of calls. The speakerphone was also low & made it pretty unusable. The bluetooth was not reliable either, and the battery stopped holding a charge after about 5 months.

DH & I both have them and we DID love them but lately the battery is dying quickly and the volume freaks out for no reason i.e. today DH was talking for like 30 seconds and I could not hear him at all but he could hear me (not talking but the music I had on in the house). These issues just started recently and we had no problems with the Razr's at first.
