Mount sinai teacher arrested for the rape of the bartender
A physical education teacher was arrested Wednesday and accused of raping a bartender in Mount Sinai, police said.
An investigation led detectives to Michael J. Wachholder, 30, of 43 Sams Path, Rocky Point, a teacher in the Three Village school district, Suffolk police said.
According to police, on Feb. 3 at 3:30 p.m., two men entered the Mount Sinai bar. They ordered drinks and talked with a female bartender, who was the only other person in the bar.
Twenty minutes later, the men approached the bartender from behind, struck her in the head and face, knocked her to the floor and sexually assaulted her, police said. During the assault, one of the men asked her how to access the cash register. After the attack, the men fled the scene; no cash was taken, police said.Wachholder is being held overnight and will be arraigned in Central Islip Thursday. He is charged with first-degree rape, aggravated sexual abuse and assault.

Hmmm...I just got a thing for jury duty at the end of the march in CI. Maybe I will get this case and can help get him put away

In compliance with New York State law, a background check was conducted prior to hiring this individual, and the state reported no prior criminal record."
A Newsday check of Wachholder's criminal background Wednesday indicated a number of arrests since the 1990s, including a felony criminal mischief arrest in 2000. But that charge, and other arrests for misdemeanors, ultimately resulted in either dismissals or guilty pleas to lesser offenses, including a misdemeanor conviction for operating a vehicle while impaired and several violations.
Michael Conte, a spokesman for the school district, said Wednesday, "The state had reported no prior criminal conviction when the district checked his record pursuant to state law. We plan to look into this tomorrow to ascertain why these prior convictions were not reported to the district."
McVeigh said after police asked the public for information about the attack and put out a sketch of the suspect, several tips came in from people who said they recognized Wachholder

Uggghhhhhh.....FH was *shocked* when I called him. We went to Tara's in Port for dinner and it came on News 12...We were like, we lost our appetite!
I always thought he was a little "off" but then I found out some stuff that put that in perspective...But still, it is absolutely disgusting!!! I am definitely NOT surprised that he had a prior record.
My BIL is a SCPO and he said it was like a bloodbath at Secrets, like a murder scene He FUUUUKKKKKED that poor girl up.... I hope she's OK

Apparently his accomplice didn't touch her, he's cooperating with police but he's still in a world of trouble tool. It calms me a little to know this pr*ck's gonna be someone's b*tch shortly. I hope they're already  over his asssssss....

I hope they catch the other guy as well - and have someone chop both of their weenies off so they can never do this again
