Movement? Flutters? Gas?
I know this has probably been asked a million times before, but I am experiencing a bit of preggo brain and don't remember the answer.
I am 16w1d today and I don't think I've felt any kind of movement yet. I was at the dr. last friday and we heard the heartbeat so I am sure all is ok. But the doc said any day now I'd be feeling something.
What's the deal? I've heard it can feel like gas and if that's the case than I may have felt it and not even known since gas has become a constant symptom.
But come on, I want to feel this kid already!!! When did you feel movement (for BTDT moms, when did you feel it with your first)?

I'm 18 weeks and waiting for the same feeling. I was just at the doctor's last week and we heard the heartbeat too. My doctor said in the next few weeks i should feel something. Sometime i think i feel something and then i am not sure. I hope you feel something soon.

Re: Movement? Flutters? Gas?
I didn't notice any flutters until I think 19 weeks. I was home in bed, sick as a dog, and actually felt some tickling-type feelings in my belly and I knew it wasn't gas pains or anything. If I wasn't laying still at that time, I probably wouldn't have felt it then either, that's how faint mine started. And then maybe like 2 weeks later I started feeling the real movements.
Man, I miss those movements but now I get to snuggle with DD instead.
It will happen, don't worry. And you'll love every SECOND of it and will be totally amazed when it does happen.

With DD#1 I do not think I felt a thing until after 20 weeks. This time around it was more like 17 weeks.

I think I was around 19 weeks when I first felt flutters (the feeling of bubbles).
You'll feel your baby soon enough!!!

Re: Movement? Flutters? Gas?
I am 16 weeks too ( I think we are date twins if I remember correctly )
I **think** I feel something but I am not sure if it is gas related. I do feel, sporadically, like a butterfly is flapping its wings inside of me. Once it was in my lower belly but I have felt it in my upper belly too so it could be gas.
Soon we will feel movement!!!

I think I felt them right around week 19 too... a few weeks before I would feel bubbles here and there but nothing consistent till around week 18 or 19.

Re: Movement? Flutters? Gas?
I didn't feel anything until around 23 weeks but I have an anterior placenta so her kicks were muffled at first.

Does this have anything to do wit ha tilted uterus? Nobody has told me I have an anterior placenta, but pre conception I did have a tilted uterus.

Re: Movement? Flutters? Gas?
I first felt the baby around 18 1/2 weeks. It felt like rippling bubbles. Kind of like gas, but not. Although even now, there are some times when I know I'm gassy and I'm not quite sure if I'm feeling that or the baby!

I felt the first flutters at 18 weeks and 3 days. I am not 22 weeks and have yet to feel hard kicks.

Re: Movement? Flutters? Gas?
I think I started feeling flutters around 18/19 weeks.
I'm 23 weeks now and lately (at night) I sometimes see my stomach do a wave (its the only way I could expalin it) on my left side--it goes in and then out. Is that the baby or my stomach?
