I'm thinking this would be a good age for 5 year olds and taking a chance with 3 and 4 year olds. What's your opinion? TIA

My 3 yr old will not sit through a movie. I tried twice. Once she made it pretty far and once we made it about 25 minutes thanks to 9,000 previews I think this is a better party for school aged kids. My older DD has gone to lots of movie parties since Kindergarten

i dont think my 3 yr old would sit through a whole movie with other kids around...she would want to play the whole time!

We went to a 3 yo birthday party at a movie and it was fine.
the positives that I think helped with the kids:
1) Movie - Shrek 3 2) It was in the morning, so instead of pizza, they did bagels. All the moms made bages for the kids and themselves and everyone ate them (and popcorn) during the movie 3) It was a private theater so you could get up and move around as needed.
My 3 1/2 year old was fine - my 1 1/2 year old, not so much

eh, that's a toughy. It would have to be a heck of a good movie and not too long. In my preschool we used to put in a movie every once in while when there was a rainy day and we couldn't go outside. This was a group of mostly 3-4 yr olds and the only things they would sit through were the short half hour flicks (like a scoobydoo episode or Frosty the Snowman). Anything else would have to be watched in segments. Their attention span could not last more than an hour.

I would do a Kidtoons version like Island 16 has...it's like 45 minutes long. They aren't new releases though
