Re: Movie question

This thread reminded of the time when DH and I were REALLY NEWLY dating and were both still living at home with our parents. We were at his house in his room and were watching Big Fish, and when it ended he went to the end of his bed to get the DVD out and I heard sniffling. I was all "dude, are you crying?" and he was all "no (sniffle sniffle) and I was like, "you totally are". then he says "you don't understand, if you were a boy and had a father son relationship, you'd be crying too." I almost died laughing bc he never cries. to this day, I have seen this movie a few more times and it still doesn't make me cry, but it gets DH every.single.time. He says I have no heart, LOL.

Definitely Forrest Gump. Like a big baby.

All Dogs Go To Heaven. Chat Icon Just the thought of that movie makes me want to burst into tears... and they show this to CHILDREN! Chat Icon Really any movie where the animal dies is a guaranteed tear jerker for me- Old Yeller, Black Beauty, Marley & Me, hell movies like I Am Legend and Turner & Hooch. Chat Icon

And Les Miserables. Oh my. I saw it twice in the theaters and I cried hysterically both times. I mean bawling.

Big Fish makes me cry too but because of the relationship between Edward and Sandra.

And I'm a big old dork because I am crying so hard as I post this:

A League of Their Own (the scene with the sisters making up always gets me).

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who cries over A League of Their Own -- there are about four scenes in that movie that TOTALLY destroy me: the sisters' reconciliation, the telegram from the war department, when Bob comes back, and when the sisters see each other at the Hall of Fame at the end... ughhh I am welling up just thinking about it. Chat Icon

Also:
Schindler's List
Life Is Beautiful (when he sees his mother at the end and the voice over says, "this is what my father did for me." Ugh can't.)
Mr. Holland's Opus
Rudy

I have such a random list. Chat Icon
