Moving a staircase in the house..

has anyone done this? Is it really alot of work, or not that bad? Thanks!

We would want to move it from the center of the house (right when you walk in the door) to the corner right side. Thanks!

(My husband is a carpenter, and he can def. do it, I just wanted to hear from people who have already done it!)

We had stairs on the side of the house, then moved them to the back. It only took a few minutes..... Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

j/k. Honestly, I have no idea. I would think you would need an architect involved, since you have to do some significant rearranging of support beams to open up that much of a hole in the floor where the stairs will wind up.
