Moving companies? Prices?
We will be moving from Queens (Bayside) to Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens) next week. Looking for a decent priced moving company (we don't have too much furniture/short distance). Any advice? (We plan on moving to LI within the next 6-9 months so if they are good we'd use them again then!  )

We used Ken's moving twice, one time from Queens to Queens and then from Queens to Long Island... they were great both times and couldn't find anyone to beat the price.

we used abe lurie parkway vans for both of our moves.
they were very good and very reasonable. they have an office in brooklyn and in marlboro, nj

we used Ken's. They came in under their original quote - I was thrilled. Plus they sent 5 guys (instead of 3 they originally said) and were done in half the time (5-1/2 hours instead of 10 hours).

Did ken's charge you all a lot for travel time? What about charges for shrink wrap? Tape? We got a quote from them and everyone else seems to be cheaper - does that sound right?
