Moving on...
I finally feel a sense of relief! After battling for 7 months with Kofinas' staff (because he wouldn't speak with me) I am so happy to say that I am now able to put part of this horror behind me. In the end, Kofinas himself refused to ever admit that he forced me into unnecessary surgery for a misdiagnosed ectopic pregnancy. He never once called to check on me. He never apologized for rushing me out of his office that day telling me that I would bleed to death if I didn't have the "other baby" (that was never there) removed. He never thought to check on me even once throughout my pregnancy. The only thing I got from him was a bill. For my own sanity and the well being of my family- I gave up trying to fight the bills. Today, I handed over my insurance checks and closed the door to that office- forever.
As of now, I am looking forward to the birth of my baby girl this April- who was put through things that no unborn child should have to endure.
I donated the Lovenox Kofinas had put me on- which I found out after the unnecessary surgery that I didn't need. I know how expensive it is and left two boxes at the office for anyone who truly does need it.
Brighter days are now ahead.

Hope the rest of your pregnancy is happy and healthy, it sounds like you have a huge weight lifted. I have heard of similar stories and wish you peace with your pregnancy :)

Moving on...
I'm so happy this nightmare is behind you. I know how much you went through with this dr. I know many people swear by him, but I know in your situation, he made terrible mistakes. Happy you are moving on and have some peace. Now the countdown begins. ;)

Wow, this same thing happened to my friend but with a dr in PA. It's scary. Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
