Moving to crib - some questions/advice
DS will be 4 months next week and we are moving him into his crib in his room - I'll miss my little buddy next to me, but I think its time. Anyway, right now he sleep in the bassinet, is swaddled, and uses the sleep positioner/wedge. Thing is he always slides down, but I'm there to move him back up. So..
1) Do I keep using the sleep positioner? How do you keep them from sliding? I know I really can't - just wing it and try w/o?
2) Any advice for making the transition or am I just getting anxious and itll be fine? I do rock him to sleep in his room every night, but then he comes into our room for the bassinet.

Re: Moving to crib - some questions/advice
No advice except that I hope you have an easier time than we have been having. DS is almost 4.5 months and tonight will be night 9 in the crib - it's been horrific and I don't even know what to do anymore.
He just scootches off of the sleep positioner so I just took it out.

Oh no! Actually DS has been having a bad few nights - I think from teething, so I'm waiting until he gets in a better pattern before changing him b/c that's waht I'm afraid of! GL - I hope it gets better.

Re: Moving to crib - some questions/advice
I would try without the positioner is he is sliding down. I think it's harder for the parents than for the baby to transition. My DS was fine and I was so worried he wouldn't be. Some people find that babu might sleep better if placed across the crib and not parallel to it, they feel more secure.
