Moving to Long Island
Hello,
I currently live in Manhattan but recently found out that I'm preggers so we are planning on moving to Long Island. I grew up in Queens so I know a little about LI neighborhoods, but not too much. What are some good neighborhoods to consider? Ideally, we would like to be close to a beach and still have a pretty easy commute to Manhattan (I will still have to work in the city.)
TIA!

Re: Moving to Long Island
If you want to be close to the beach and in a good SD and close to the city, you prob can start looking on South Shore off Babylon line... Babylon Village, Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Wantagh, Seaford, Bellmore, Merrick, etc.

I agree with towns above. You can also try Oceanside, Long Beach train line areas.

I was just about to say Oceanside. We live in the area, close to Long Beach, close to RVC for good restaurants and good school system, and nice mid prices houses!!!
GL and Congrats!!!
