Re: MRI and sedation medication

Hi
My DS just had 1 last week...Definatley harder on me than him....He had a lump on his head that we needed to find out what was going on with..turned out to be a hemangioma which should go away on its own in 2 yrs
He had his 2month checkup a few days before the MRI so I knew his exact weight..Make sure you know it cause thats importanat.
He was out for 45 minutes to an hour.My son is almost 3 months old so the not eating for 6 hrs before is hard for a baby but make sure you get the first app. if u can...once he came outof it he was able to eat.
Watching him go out was hard, I wont lie. I wish i didnt see it. But the ped nurses were great and came out evry 15 min to talk to us.
Hope everything goes well for youChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
