Hey ladies, I just posted over on the TTC board. Thank you all so much for all the prayers and well wishes and for thinking of me throughout the day.
Unfortunately, the IVF didn't work. DH and I both cried for awhile and now we're just trying to relax at home together. Even with the help of the grant we put everything we had into this IVF so doing it again isn't an option at least not anytime soon (not for a couple years). So it looks like we'll be going back to ttc the old fashioned way. DH has been taking vitamins, working out and cut out caffine since he got the results of his first SA so hopefully his sperm quality will improve. And now that I know I have PCOS and am on metformin hopefully I will start to O on my own, even if just once in awhile.
I really just want to thank you all again. The support and strength I have gained from this site has been invaluable. Despite not knowing any of you IRL you all mean a great deal to me and I value each and every single one of you.

I'm so sorry. Sometimes it does take more than one time with IVF. Sometimes I wish there was a way RE's could monitor us before we start the cycle so they can get a better understanding how we will react to the meds etc.... Hopefully you will find a way to do another cycle in the future. Where there's a will there's a way. Who knows, maybe one of you will end up with a new job in the future that covers IVF.
Good luck with the old fashioned way. I found when DH was less stressed his SA was much much better.

I'm so sorry this IVF cycle didn't turn out to be successful for the two of you Have you ever considered trying out IUI? It's relatively cheap, and Dr Braverman has been successful with many women on this board. This would definitely increase your chances per cycle. Either way, I just want to wish you good luck with everything and keep your chin up

I'm so sorry Christina. After reading the story someone posted not too long ago about her friend getting PG with only 3 viable sperm and an IUI, I truly believe anything is possible. Don't lose hope. Many and for you!

 I'm so sorry, I really was pulling for you that this cycle would work!!
Just know that it will all work out in the end.. if it doesn't work out.. it just means it's not the end yet!!

I understand that you received an IVF grant and from my understanding it covers TWO IVF cycles per grant...I also had it and it DID cover two cycles....the second one was "free"...we did not pay a penny.....once you pay for the first cycle you do not pay for the second...PLEASE CHECK with ECF and make sure you still have the second cycle available to you!!! I know the grant expired march 31 but once you have the grant, you have 2 cycles!! please check with them...

Also, I would consider switching from ECF to a different clinic....my friend had the same outcome as you BFN plus very bad low celled embryos on day 3 (she believes its their lab-hated the place) she went to a different clinic (same protocol) and had 8 and 10cells on day 3 and got pregnant and had a healthy son.....just something to consider....
I was very surprised to hear that they went ahead with the transfer....most clinics would have cancelled it (and spare you from paying for it and also the emotional 2ww wait)....either way, since you have the grant you can go to any other clinic that participated in the grant program...

So sorry it didn't work. I have been there. You need to take time for you and your hubby to breathe and reconnect. I've been through a failed IVF with no frozen embies and a second round with a miscarriage at 9 weeks and 1 frozen emby.
HOld on!
It will happen for us.
