Was thinking of you last night, I heard on the news that Penn was a mess and that there was a mob scene at the LIRR railroad
Hope you made it home OK and didn't bother venturing this morning

Thanks guys. Its so sweet of you to think of me. Being pregnant definitely makes this harder, but at least I am close to Penn Station and always got a seat on the LIRR.
Actually DH picked me up and drove me home at 8:00 so I went to a friends and hung out with her until he got there. I miss living in the city.
Tonight, however, I have to brave the LIRR. Not looking forward to the line to get into Penn station.

how early do you think? I was going to leave at 4:30, but I heard that was just as bad as 5 yesterday. Although today, gettnig out of Penn Station was SO MUCH EASIER than yesterday. I think a lot of people stayed home.
I am the only one here today (there are usually 2 of us- so not a huge deal).

Oh.... so not an option. I'll try leaving around 4 and see what happens. I sent an e-mail to the office manager in Hartford asking if I can leave early this week. I attached this picture. Crazy!!

I had to snake around Penn station for about 10 minutes- but it wasn't too bad. But I left around 4:15 and made a 4:40 train.

Thank you everyone!!!!
I ended up having to walk back to Penn from my office, butttt I left at 2pm and got to Penn just in time to make a 3pm train...and Penn was so EMPTY at that hour.
My train ended up being packed and there was standing room only (but Wigglie and I had a seat)...and even though it was about 20 mins late getting me home, I was still home at a decent hour.
I saw Penn on the news last night - right around the time I would have had to be there and OMG it was a DISASTER!!! I don't wish that on anyone!
I stayed home today but will be in tomorrow, I hope to get out of work early again and miss the rush.
Thanks for thinking of me!!!!!!!!!!!
