Mt. Marcy and Lake George
I'll be going with my BF to Lake George this summer. Does anyone know if Mt. Marcy is near lake George or how far away it might be? I remember when I was younger and we climbed a mountain when we were at Lake George but I cant remember if that was it.

I have no help with the proximity, but from the teacher angle....take lots of pics if you climb it.....highest point in NY (useless stuff to share with fourth graders !)

thanks..I have been looking things up online and something tells me I am getting confused with Prospect Mountain in Lake George. I think Mt. Marcy is closer to Lake Placid. It would have been nice to say I was on the tallest mountain in New York with my BF but the other mountain might have to do.
