Re: Mucus plug question
I actually asked my doctor this same question today. She said no. She said that some women don't even notice it when it goes. It can be a lot of clear fluid, or even go down the shower drain and you don't realize it.

Mine was clear and I lost it over time. Many people never realize that they lost theirs.

Any ideas?? Yup, actually right. My twin sister said the same thing when it happened to her. She went into labor like a day or two later.

Unfortunately, not neccessarily BUT everyone is different. I know not the answer you wanted. It could happen soon or it could take weeks.
I lost my mucus plug a few weeks ago AND had a "bloody show" Thursday night...still no labor But that's me...you could be different.
best of luck!

I remember Colette lost hers and still didn't deliver until a week or two later I think...maybe longer even... It's different for everyone.

Are you having any "bathroom" issues? I always read on here before girls go into labor that they usually have some sort of issue that would usually require immodium.

Re: Mucus plug question - TMI!!!!
Unless you have leaking, bleeding, or timed cramping, I don't see a need to call the doctor- especially if you want to avoid another internal.

Re: Mucus plug question - TMI!!!!
I lost kmy mucus plug and didn't have for 8 more days. But, usually you go into labor within 48-72 hours after losing it.
