Mucus question for anyone that tracks CM

I haven't been checking CM, but I noticed around day 8 or 9 of the past few cycles, I'm getting a ton of CM. It's really wet all day so it's impossible not to notice. After that 1-2 day initial surge, I wouldn't say I'm dry, but really no noticeable mucus when I wipe.
Is this how it's supposed to be or does it sound like I'm dehydrated or maybe should try pre-seed?
I've been getting a positive LH tests on day 14.

I never really tracked CM, but I used pre-seed and mucinex to thin out the CM. I was on clomid and it is known to dry you up a bit and perhaps thicken CM. Must have worked because I have my 2 week old sleeping in front of me right now Chat Icon

Congratulations! Enjoy your precious, beautiful baby.

I think I'll try a small amount of the pre-seed. Although, we did conceive naturally, we have a history of male factor - quality and quantity.

What was the timing/dosage of Mucinex?

Thank you! Not sure about the dosage of mucinex....I will have to find my bottle, but I only took it once or twice a day.

My husband's counts took a nose dive when we were trying for our third. We miraculously became pregnant with the help of an IUI even though with his number, the chances that it would take were extremely low. Unfortunately we lost that pregnancy at 11 weeks. So as soon as I was recovered we started looking into his issue. Turns out he had a varicocele that could be affecting his counts and quality. So he had it removed, started a clomid regimen and got pregnant on our own after three months....which is my now two week old.

Have you looked further into your husband's issue?

Thanks. DH also had varicocele surgery, but it didn't help his numbers much.

I took extended release mucinex once a day. I ovulate late so I probably started around day 13 or 14.

Best of luck this month!
