Multiple children in day care
Does anyone have more than 1 child in day care right now?
Do they give you a significant discount on the 2nd child or do you pay full price?
I was thinking it might not be worth sending them to day care next year at almost $600.

Re: Multiple children in day care
I will have 2 in daycare come Sept. There is no discount at my daycare. Some of the chains offer a 10% discount for the second kid.
It is going to cost us a fortune!!! But I have priced in home (mine) and it is going to be just as expoensive. And since that is the case I would rather go with daycre where they have other kids to play with and their are more eyes areound. As well as I don't have to worry about my provider taking sick days or vacation.

The lady I use gave me a discount for the two of them, and I know Tutor time gives you a 10% one.

Re: Multiple children in day care
I have two children in day care. They give a discount on my toddler. (It comes out to a $15.00 difference per week).
I send my girls 3 days a week w/early drop off and we pay....$1,875 a month

10% off the tuition of the older child only - NOT 10% off of the sum of both children's tuition. The older they get, the less the tuition so it's less of a discount.

Re: Multiple children in day care
Our daycare doesn't give a discount. The next break in price is at 3 years old.
We would have to pay 500 bucks a weeks for two of them. This is the reason why unless so many if's fall into place this year, I will not be going back to work after #2 is born.
