Please tell me this is a phase. I don't want her to be 3 years old and this is still going on.

Mine is too. Fun, isn't it? The good news is my 2 year old stopped a LONG time ago, so I don't think it lasts long.

16 months here and still going strong.
She seems to be getting worse not better.
I PRAY that it ends soon.

Re: My 13 month old is biting, hitting, pulling my hair and throwing herself on the floor.

my kid is advanced, he pulled this on me at at 8m, but in all fairness he was a big baby, was probably the size of a 13m old Chat Icon

I was very unhappy, thought I was doing something wrong, felt stupid, so I did what makes me feel smart again... I started reading books, and ran into something that I never heard before, RIE. I adapted this parenting methodology that changed our lives. I started some of he principles and 3 days later we saw big changes. In 2 weeks he was much calmer. By 10m he was a different baby.

This woman's is a RIE instructor, her blog is my bible, and here are a few articles that I think may help you:

eta: also I think a lot of it naturally will lessen when they develop words to express themselves, a lot of what they are so angry about is that they can't say what their powerful little minds are thinking.

Oh my one year old is a TOTAL bully.
She belongs in the movie Mean Girls!
Today at daycare she was shooting such death looks to a sweet little girl who dared cross her path. The girl was just standing there quietly- not touching her, not threating her toys. And my little monster was throwing her SUCH an evil eye it was frightening!
