My 38w4d appt-latest belly pic in album

My md said that I "may" be a fingertip dilated...I think he just said that to give me hope, lol. He said he doesn't think I will be having the baby any time soon-although after my appt when I was waiting to schedule next weeks-he walked by saying-it's gonna happen soon-I can feel it. I think he can tell I get a little disappointed when there isn't much progress. I was hoping to become a Sept mommy-oh well. Next appt is 9/30-my 2nd wedding anniversary! I'm up 31lbs total so far and very happy with that-although I see some more stretch marks on my belly. Belly pic from yesterday in album.

Ugh I know how frustrating it is that late in the game to make no progress! But I've read many stories on here about women who have made no progress and have their baby the next day!

I had my 38 week appointment today too. I am contracting every 12 minutes but they are doing NOTHING. I am now 1 1/2 cm dialated. I was 1 cm last week. My obgyn said it was an easy 1 1/2 and stretchable to 2 cm but he did not want to do that. He said I will make my repeat c/s on 9/30. I am up 14 lbs for the pregnancy, but I am over weight to begin with so he was happy with my over all weight gain. I am not so brave to post photos. You look fantastic!
