my 4yr old wants to be a baby like her little sister
Help my 4yr old is forever "pretending to be a baby". She climbs in the crib with my 10mth old, makes baby noises (goo goo ga ga deal) and today she found one of her sisters spare pacifiers and popped it in her mouth. How do I get her over this jealousy of her baby sister?!

she is doing it for attention.
try and not sweat it.. they ALL do variations of this when their sibling arrives..
Redirect her and destract her into doing something else. Tell her what a big girl she is and what a good girl she is

Talk about how great it is that she's a big girl who you can talk to, she can help out & go places with...stuff the baby can't do.
Let her overhear you talking about how terrific it is to have an older child, etc.
edited to add:
I agree that she's doing it for attention but that it is completely normal.
Just be wary that she may start to misbehave for attention too.
