my 7 week sono is tomorrow and im terrified
anyone else get like this?
i MC at 6 weeks at the end of november. im now just over 7 weeks with this pregnancy, and ive had crazy symptoms, but the last two days i feel like they've lessened.. and im so scared that we won't see a heartbeat.
i know it's out of my hands and i know to stay calm and relax.. and i am. but i cant shake that bad feeling from the back of my head. tomorrow at 3 can't come soon enough

Good luck. It was very scary going to the first appointment after my mc (I found out at my 1st appointment previously that I had mmc).
I was actually very calm up until I had to leave the house. My blood pressure was high with my nerves but everything was good.
I barely had an symptom the 1st or 2nd time and now I am in my 3rd trimester. Unfortunately your innocence is lost but it does get better and you will enjoy your pregnancy. You owe it to yourself and your baby.

Symptoms will come and go- especially with you being so early so don't stress. Good luck!!!

I made myself so sick to my stomach first few sono's. I am almost 17 weeks and still get that like. Just try to relax!!! GOOD LUCK!

Dani, I totally feel the same way. Each day is an eternity....It is the unfortunate scar of your mc. I am relying on meditation for a daily reset and focus to calm myself and remember as you said, it is out of my hands. Wishing you all the best tomorrow - please do post and let us know how it went.

With my 2nd pregnancy I had no symptoms until almost my 2nd trimester. I didn't feel pg at all. Don't worry about symptoms!

Unfortunately that feeling never goes away. I've never miscarried but I always get nervous before a sono. I have my 20 week next week and I'm still nervous. With my first I was nervous until he was born.
Thoughts are with you. Let us know how it goes

Hope all goes well tomorrow! I am sure everything will be just fine!
I can totally relate to your feelings though. I had a MMC in September so I find myself constantly worrying that something went wrong weeks ago and I just don't know it yet. I have my 16 week appointment on Thursday and I am still a mess with worry and fear. I am hoping once I feel the baby move consistently it will get better but I feel like it won't completely go away until the baby is here and in my arms. And then starts a whole new set of worries!  I think the pregnancy anxiety is just our bodies way or preparing us for the lifetime of worry that comes with being a parent!

Two weeks ago (so at 15+ weeks), I convinced myself that I was miscarrying again. Why? I convinced myself that my boobs and belly had gotten smaller. My OB's office was fine with me going in for a sonogram, just to put my mind at ease (I guess when you're high risk and have miscarried 3 times already - it's just easier to bring you in for testing than to put you off).
In the 12 hours before the sonogram, I started to clear my calendar - assuming I'd need to have a D&C later that week. I wish I could say I was joking - but that's seriously where my head was at.
Thankfully my sonogram was over quickly, after seeing a vibrant heartbeat and active little boy. I cried in disbelief.
Just keep your spirits up and remain confident that all will be OK. The mind of a pregnant woman (particularly one who has experienced loss) is a scary animal!

im hearing more and more that symptoms come and go and that once you've had a loss, the worry never goes away. ive stayed so positive this far, so why stop now?
it is what it is and it's up to life... so i will calm down and relax and just look forward to tomorrow.

ETA: my nausea is back.. so im hoping thats good lol! and now i will not complain again whe nit goes away.

Just remember that every pregnancy is different. I had a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks, and am now 27 weeks along. Before I went to my first appointment with this pregnancy, my symptoms stopped and I started spotting...I was absolutely a wreck and convinced it was happening again, but the next day we went in and saw his beautifully strong heartbeat. It was incredible! I would be lying if I said the worry doesn't stick around, but certainly try to stay positive as much as possible. Good luck tomorrow!!

I had a m/c at 7 weeks last yr. I was very nervous at the start of this pregnancy but im now 38 weeks and have had a healthy pregnancy thus far. Sending you lots of positive vibes. Good luck at your appointment
