My baby has so many rolls in her neck!
I have a really hard time cleaning them, cause she's always moving and fussing. Anyway, they're really red in between. Has anyone's DC had this and what did you do for it? My sister suggested cleaning (duh) making sure it's totally dry and using corn starch. I may call the pediatrician tomorrow if it's still really bad,

We had this for months! We just made sure she was cleaned in the bath with a wet washcloth(it got so gross in there after a day) and put baby lotion on it. It will go away eventually.

dip your finger in cornstarch and rub it in that area. DD had a rash there and that cleared it up almost immediately.

You can also rub Aquafor in there to help clear up the rash. That will work really great, and it will also help protect the area from getting wet again from drool.

Julia had the same problem when she was a baby, I would put some baby powder under her neck after baths.
I know there are some powders to stay away from since its no good for there lungs, if it gets worse I would call your Dr.

DD gets red on her right side only-so weird. I try to always keep it clean but she really fights me on it! Who knew something so small could have such a strong neck!

Same here! I think it just comes with the territory. It's really difficult because they drool and the formula pools under there. I did the cornstarch and all it did was make his neck raw from being too dry
Then I just kept cleaning it and putting lotion at every diaper change and it eventually got better.

My ped had us - clean it with a soft cloth w/ cetaphil soap. then pour a little corn starch powder on it. It went right away and stayed away as long as I put it on - when she sat up on her own it disappeared

Clean it and dry it-it could just be a little irritation/rash from moisture. try corn starch to keep it a bit more dry.

Here's what always worked for me.
When he was laying down I would use my left hand to clean and with my right hand I would snap my fingers above and behind his head.
He would stretch to see what the noise was and then I would attack the neck folds with some Cetaphil on a damp washcloth with my left hand.
Worked every time!!
