My brother is being sent to Iraq
We knew the day would come..he is a US Marine, and he signed up for it...but my mom is a wreck. He doesn't leave until August but will be gone until at least March 09.
I'll prob be asking for lots of prayers around that time!!!

My brother is a US Marine. He served 2 tours in Iraq, fighting in Fallujah when it was the hotbed.
I won't tell you anything trite. It is going to be a hard time for your family..
My prayers are with your brother, your family, and our armed forces.

My brother is being sent to Afganistan on Feb 1st for 8 months, so I can imagine how you are feeling. I will pray that he makes it home safe. If you ever need to talk, feel free to FM. Nothing but for you and your family!!

Thanks so much everyone. My mom will need a lot of help getting through this. She is the type to worry and be sick over it everyday until he is home.
I give him a lot of credit..he has made the marines his life and would do anything for our country..
To the others with family fighting there...god bless!!!
