My brother just asked...
My DH and I to be the godparents for his identical twin daughters. I am so honored!! They are going to be 1 in June and we didn't think they were going to be baptised or that they would ever ask both of us to be their godparents. I'm so excited. This is the first time I will be a godmother and I get two at the same time!! Dh is already a godfather for two of his neices. I'm so happy just wanted to share. Also, I know I am supposed to purchase their christening outfits-is there anything else I'm supposed to do?

Congrats!!!! That is so nice. I would also buy them the bonnet that turns into a hanky on their wedding day. I bought that for my niece

What an honor! My SIL recently asked me to be her son's godmother, and I felt so proud I agree with whomever said maybe the outfit and something they can keep for when they get older.
