My cat's butt is hairless?
Champ's tushy is almost bald. I noticed he was picking at it a little. It's very noticeable. I feel soooo bad for him. He's always been a little high strung and nervous...I wonder why he's doing it? He has herpes and when he had his first outbreak, he sat in a corner and wouldn't eat for days. I think he's depressed

can you take him to the vet? That is a bit bizzare if he is picking at it. Might be worms?

Awwww poor kitty!! I hate that cats can get like this and there isnt much we can do. Did you ask your vet if they can give him anything? Something for the anxiety?

He mentioned some calming herbs, but for some reason (and I work in Nutrition ) I am leery to try them. I feel like he's gone through these little episodes before, but never lost his hair. He had fleas (a friend brought them over my cats are indoors only) and I think that made his anxiety skyrocket, but now the fleas are gone so maybe he's still a little anxious?
