My child has a New York accent.....
for a few days now she has been walking around saying what I thought was yeah. If she saw something she wanted, she'd point and say, "yeah yeah"- or so I thought.
well, after a few days, we figured out she's saying HERE with a new york accent- it's like heeah... she gets it from my mom- who says here to her all the time- so now when she sees something she wants she says "heeah" as in, 'give it here'- unbelievable.

Between my parents, inlaws and DH, my baby has no chance of not having the accent. I have it to, but I make an effort with certain words. I say diaper correctly instead of saying dypa like MIL does!!!!!
