My child is turning vegetarian on me... HELP!!!!!!
Today is day 3 of Kristina being in daycare....
I need some serious food help here! She is refusing all things meat, and in this house, we are HUGE meat eaters....
Today for lunch I cut made her a half sandwich of cinnamon raisin bread with cream cheese, gave her edamame, goldfish, and cut up some raw orange pepper for her.
Please help me with food ideas... I have NO clue what to give her in her lunchbox!

I have no ideas! DS refuses meat. I'm not concerened. It's meat, not veggies or fruits.

DD doesn't like meat either. She gets her protein manly from Cheese and eggs.

My DS doesn't eat meat either unless it is in nugget form.
I think it is pretty normal actually

Not sure how old DCs are but if they are teething chewing meat could be painful.
The first meat DS ate was lamb - he wouldn't eat chicken/beef for me.
My mom made us lamb chops - ds saw the bone and wanted one - he went to town.
Also, we were at my sisters and did a little toast w/ our cups - DS thought this was so much fun. I gave him a bite of meat and we started doing "meat cheers" and he'll eat steak, chicken and ham.
My sister gave him canadian bacon w/ breakfast and that went down pretty easy
BTW - DS is 18-19 mos when this all happened.

Lisa, I would love to say not to worry but things like that bother me too! Is it all meat? Will she eat chicken? I have no advice but Im having some food issues with Nina too, so here are

Kaydyn is going through the same thing right now. The only thing she will eat is chicken nuggets occasionally and meatballs occasionally.
I'm not too worried about it. She eats eggs and cheese and we try to give her other sources of protein.
We've learned that sometimes if she sees someone eating something she will mimic it. So my MIL has been making 1 1/2 sandwiches for my FIL for lunch and inevitably Kaydyn asks for some so he feeds her bites off his plate of cold cut sandwiches.

DS doesn't eat meat either (unless it's a nugget). Or eggs. He does love cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and beans sometimes. Does she like beans?

DD eats the occaisaional hot dog or chicken nugget...otherwise, MEAT FREE!
She eats cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc., so I don't worrry....she's pretty much been like that since she has been on solids...

Ryan stopped eating meat too. But he does eat chicken. So I make him Chicken nuggets, teriayki(sp?) chicken, chicken patties. Have you tried that? Maybe some meatballs?

Nope... It's ALLLLLLLLLL meat! Even chicken. And I wouldn't mind giving her the chix nuggets, but she has gotten into the habit of 'dipping' her chicken, and I can't send sauces into daycare.... That would be hell for them!
