My daily update (Friday)
The hits keep on coming. 
My mom and I drove to the PJ office and I called on the way. They switched the phones over late today, so I couldn't get thru as early as I wanted to, but it was fine- it worked out. I told the receptionist (my favorite one  ) that I'd be there by 9 and she told me she'd put me in for a sono (which I never had done today actually) and we'd start there.
She asked me why I was coming in and I told her I needed more clarification and mentioned to her that I had hoped that Dr. K would've called me yesterday b/c the day before the other dr (same one I met w/ this morning) said she thought he might call me himself if my beta didn't drop and he did in fact want me to take this shot.
So I see the head nurse- I mention the shot and her face does one of these:  and now she's trying to find the words to say... and is having a hard time. While we're talking about this, Dr. D comes out and has this look on her face:  - I don't think she liked that I was there and that I was talking w/ the head nurse about this. TOO BAD lady
So we go back into her office and she shuts the door. I explain to her that yesterday by the time I gathered my thoughts the office phones were already switched over (about 30 mins early I might add) so I couldn't talk to her. I mention how the other day she said she "didn't think that" I was having an etopic pregnancy. Never said I def was or def. wasn't- just that she didn't THINK that I was. She then gets kind of loud and tells me not to "twist her words"  She said it in front of both my DH and I TWICE- I am in no way twisting her words... Why she would snap on that is beyond me anyway... 
At that point my mom starts asking her questions and we go back and forth until all of my questions are answered (which they aren't but I guess given the situation this is the best I'm going to get b/c they don't know what's going on  ) She then tells me that both she and Dr. K are out next week, leaving Dr. B to handle all 3 offices THAT spoke volumes to me- now I see.... they don't want to leave my case hanging while neither person is around who has been dealing with me. Also the PJ office is closing today b/c they're moving but the office won't be available until mid-september or something so they're borrowing an office for 1 hour M-F so ppl can get bloodwork and sonos- but no dr will be there next week.
So fine--- I leave there and now I look at my mom and ask her what she'd do. She said at this point she'd be leaning towards taking the shot today in Melville. So we drive to Melville (all the vials of meds are packed away from the move so Melville it is). I get to Melville- ask to see the nurse- tell her I want to go over the paper they have to give me to sign before I get this shot. I never leave the waiting room- she brings me the paperwork. I read it and give it to my mom who reads it and looks the same way. I call DH several times and can't get thru to him.... which I take as a sign that I'm not supposed to do this today.
So here's where I'm at- sorry so long. I'm going back for another beta tomorrow morning in Melville. IF it goes down then we wait it out... if it stays the same or goes up then I will go back there on Sunday morning (which somehow became an option today even though it wasn't one yesterday- they told me yesterday I'd have to come back saturday afternoon if I needed it ). So - that's that. UGH!

I'm not even sure what to say.
I'm so sorry that you are going through this....why didn't they just do a beta today while you were there?
Hopefully, your numbers go down and this is all for naught.

Maybe it will help if I bang my head against a wall right along with you I am so sorry you have to go through all of this. My IVF meds are making me a little nuts lately and my hormones are RAGING...if you want me to open up a can of whooppppp azzzzzz on anyone, let me know.

Shannon, I've been thinking about you for weeks now. I am so terribly sorry you are going through all of this. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this is for you. I you get answers soon!! You are in my thoughts - always!

Thank you everyone.
In trying to keep up w/ 'normal' life we just got back from a fishing trip w/ my brother and dad, which I must've cried off and on about 50 times (though I made sure to have my sunglasses on while it was bright out and once it was dark it didn't matter b/c they couldn't see me).... and now we have to be up in about 5 hours to start our day off and head to get this beta done.
I really can't keep up with this anymore. I feel like I'm doing my best to keep my life as 'normal' as I can b/c I don't want them to all see me fall apart, (because then they'll be extra cautious around me the next time I get pregnant), .... yet I feel like I'm coming apart at the seams. I'm sorry- I feel like a big ball of complaints and pity parties lately. That's not how I want to be known on our board.  I REALLy hope this beta goes down tomorrow...... significantly.
