My daughter will be naked for Christmas
I cannot find a holiday dress that I like 
Either its sleeveless or over the top froo froo.
Any webiste besides the usual gymboree, ON, gap, etc.?

Oh and let me add the other problem the few things I do like are over $100 which I am NOT willing to spend. We don't even leave the house for Christmas, the family comes here.

Sophiasstyle is not expensive, and some stuff on bestdressedchild isn't bad.

Do you try to sell it after or just save it for something else?
I mean some of them are gorgeous and I would love to buy one but I think how many shoes or other outfits I could get for that or what a disaster she might make of it if I let her wear it all day.

Honestly, no. I don't use it for anything else. I will also say that I don't purposely go and look for expensive dresses. If I happen to fall inlove with a dress that is 200 bucks, I buy it. I mean, I usually DON'T fall inlove with the 200 dollar dress, but I did for her birthday, and I bought it. I mean, why not? If I couldn't afford it, that'd be another story. Last year, her Christmas dress cost me 25 bucks on sale. This year, it just happens to be that all the dresses I like are much more money.

Im with you. I hate the sleevless dresses for winter! and I am with you - I wont spend $100 on a dress she will wear for a couple of hours! Aly may very well be naked this Xmas also!

I agree, I usually just buy Julia's holiday dresses at the Gap, I won't spend a lot because she won't wear it again, plus we are buying a house, so I'm not going crazy this year.

I have been searching high and low for a holiday & or 1st Birthday dress.
Same problem..either its too froo froo or its short sleeves,which bothers me because I'm not spending X amount of $$ to just cover up the dress with a sweater.
Anyway, I went to Nordstom,Bloomies,Macy's,mondo di bambi, you name it! I had no luck.
But I did see most of these dresses yesterday at Century 21 for a fraction of the price.

I did see one at Target that was OK if I had nothing else.
I do like that red one you posted from Talbots.
I do LOVE christmas plaid though. It's my favorite so if anyone wants to search for a dress under $50 in that feel free.
I also do not like smocked dresses anti all.
