My DD needs to meet more kids

She will be 3 in March. She has 1 best friend that she doesnt see that much. We also just found out she will be moving by the summer She loves playing with othe kids but I cant afford for her to take any classes. We go to the library but the kids and parents seem so snobby. They are also older parents (I am only 25) so they dont seem to want to conversate with me either.

does anyone have any suggestions?

I have met many parents when I go to indoor play centers. (But they do cost.)

It's tough in the winter and the library can be a tough place when there seem to be so many parents that go in groups. I've seen that at my library.

I met some wonderful parents in my area on playgrounds. I've gone to numerous playgrounds in my town and neighboring towns. Parents are usually just standing there, watching their kids. It's just normal to start talking. If a conversation doesn't occur, I just let it go. There's always someone that will talk a bit.

We are in Islip Terrace in Suffolk. It doesnt seem like there are many hings for her to do around here. It is hard to travel far since i also have a 3 month old.

I wish it was warmer out so she can atleast go to the park. I am counting down to the spring.
