My DD swallowed her earring! Please give me hugs
So my DD swallowed the diamond stud post. I found the back to the earring in her mouth but not the post. Called the pediatrician, and poison control. As directed we rushed her to the ER.
The did XRYs..I was a wreck and I still am.
So it is in the intestines ..said it SHOULD pass within 1-4 days.
I am sick to my stomach. I feel so bad. I can't believe this happened.
BTW..shes fine...eating drinking acting normal...but I am a serious mess.
Anyone have any experience. I just want to see it in her poop already! She hasnt had any poopies since tho. Normally she goes in the am.
So I pray tomorrow we find it!
I could just die right now!!! I am literally sick!

Accidents happen, please dont beat yourself up about it. She is fine, try to focus on that.

I had a scare recently DS tore my earring off, and hid the stud in his hand, while I was looking for it on the floor, I noticed from the corner of my eye him opening his mouth and putting his fist in it. Scare the daylights out of me. But I caught it in time, and swept it out of his mouth. I have no idea what the best course is, my thoughts are so with you!

DD swallowed an Ariel Charm off of her new neclace while we were returning from Disney last year.
She will be fine!! I promise. Just get yourself a huuuge box of disposable gloves!

Funny...well scary thing is she has lost earring before..(these are all screw back might i add!!) and I always find them days later. This time I noticed the back her mouth which had me concerned....but she never coughed or anything....I am wreck.
