My DH forgot to request off for Caiden's B-day!

I can't believe he didn't request off for Caiden's birthday next week. He still works at his 2nd job which is at night. Caiden's birthday is on 1/11 and he's scheduled to work that night. Also, we were technically celebrating his birthday on 1/13 so we can go out during the day to do stuff but he's scheduled from 1:45-8:45pm. It kills the whole day, plus his parents might be coming that weekend and they're not quite my favorite people. I am not entertaining these people all day by myself. They don't care to come see their grandkids except maybe 2 times a year if that, and then when they come they're as phony as can be. I can't stand that! He better do something! He said he's trying to switch with people. If he's not able to switch then he can just call in sick on Saturday at least so he can deal with his parents, not me! I hate retail jobs!

awww im sorry to hear that...it will work out...hopefully he can switch..especially since his parents are in town. good luck..either way he better call in sick..
