Re: My DH lost his job!!!
sorry to hear that happened
just a quick question, did they pressure him to resign? if he was terminated, he could collect unemployment...but if he resigned it's a diff. story.

Re: My DH lost his job!!!
I can relate - my DH lost his job a few months before our wedding in June, and this pregnancy was unexpected - he actually lost 2 jobs in the same year - not his fault, both companies happened to not be doing well, but I can relate to that panicky feeling!

Re: My DH lost his job!!!
I'm so sorry! Is there anyway he could collect unemployment until he finds something else? On the positive side, he will be home to help you with the new baby.
Everything happens for a reason and I hope he finds a better job!
ETA just wanted to add - if he is the one carrying your insurance, make sure you pick up COBRA so that you and the baby stay covered by ins. You'll have a lot of new baby appts with the ped.
Also, can you contact the company that holds your mortgage and also any creditors (credit cards, etc) you owe money to and explain that DH lost his job and look in to deferring payments?
Some companies have programs you can join that cover your payments if you are unemployed - since he is still working until the end of the month, maybe look in to this now (not telling them he will be out of work soon) so that its an option for you guys when he is out of work?
Mabe look in to consolidating your debt too so you have one lower monthly payment?

Re: My DH lost his job!!!
I am so sorry. You need to have a long talk with your husband. Maybe having #2 is something that he feels he can't handle, even though at this point he has no choice. He will HAVE to get another job asap. I am sorry for that since I know you need his help after the c/s and with Caiden. I would be beyond mad. I am really sorry about this.
