My DH's Surprise 40th Casino Party- Pics and Review!!!!
THANK GOD IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What stress, I tell ya!
I threw my husband a surprise 40th birthday party on Saturday night. I could NOT have gone any better.
What a fabulous night!!!
A LOT of sneaking around had to be done for MONTHS, but it all paid off at the end.
He was so surprised...he cried. And so did I and many guests as well.
Here is the first pic. This is totally staged. (We had the party up the block at my friends house. He thought we were meeting there to go out to dinner.)
Well, anyway...nobody got a good pic of Russ entering the room.
So, I staged this the next morning, at our house, just so I had a "Surprise" picture! 
Family and friends saying hello:
Then headed into the yard for some GAMBLING!!
I hired M & M Entertainment and they were AMAZING!
I had Blackjack, Let It Ride, Roulette and 3 slot machines. People had a BLAST!
I also had 6 raffle baskets. To enter, everyone had to bring a scratch off ticket and out them in an envelope with their name on it. At the end of the party, my husband picked the winners, and he got the scratch-offs.
Biggest Rave EVER goes to my Bartender!!!!!!!!!! I hired Sammy from "Splash of Class" as our private bartender. (FM me for #) He was AMAZING!!!!!!!! My mother, who has NEVER had a drink in her 59 years of life- had a martini. My brother and I almost died! 
He had EVERY top shelf liquor imaginable! ANY drink you could POSSIBLY want. Everyone was soooo impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He even had complimentary cigars on his bar. I smoked about 50, and I still have no voice.
I was also trashed! It was awesome! Everone was RAVING!
Some decorations I made:
Favors. Everyone got a Texas Hold 'Em set which had 2 packs of cards, dice, dealer's chip, and a set of poker chips.
Stayandjohn (Stacey) also made me personalized baggies of chocolate poker chips that I attached to the favor. SHe did such an AWESOME job!!!! Everyone LOVED them!!!!!!

Wow, so creative. I Loooooooove theme parties! Glad it all worked out. We just had a surprise party for DH's graduation at a restaurant, and I know it is soooo stressful trying to keep everything a secret. Great job with everything!

WOW! I am exhausted just IMAGING the work you put into that.
Way to go! That was awesome!

WOW!!! That is the coolest thing ever! I always wanted to have a casino themed party! Dh will be 30 in march, maybe I'll have to look into this. Thanks for sharing! You did an amazing job!
