My Disney Review & RAVE: Mouse Tales Travel
I had to take the time to say just how wonderful Kimberly & Jennifer were in the planning of our family's 1st trip to WDW!!!
From pricing, to booking meals, to recommendations, it made everything a LOT easier.
Kimberly was VERY patient with a lot of last minute changes, meal plan upgrades, & reservations & in the end our trip was AMAZING!!!!!!
Her itinerary was precise & allowed us to ride every ride, multiple times!!! (which was nice, when I heard many times about people not getting on because it was too long of a FP wait).
We returned home yesterday and already we want to go back! My DH even wants to do DVC!
I was VERY skeptical of just how much we would enjoy ourselves, how much our 2yo would....let me say, we ate at a signature restaurant (with our girls) & it was enjoyed by all....our filet & desserts were awesome! (Hollywood Derby). We also ate at: Wilderness Lodge dinner, 'Ohana dinner & character breakfast, Kona Cafe dinner, Akersus lunch, Marrakesh Dinner, The Plaza dinner, Rainforest Cafe breakfast, Boma dinner, Crystal Palace breakfast, quick service Columbia Harbour House for lunch, & Starlight Cafe lunch)
Our 2yo was amazed at every minute. She was starstruck when we were chosen as the "opening family" for Rope Drop & there she was standing next to Mickey. After that, EVERYTIME she heard the train, she thought he was going to be on it. We got fast passes, photos on empty main street, & the once in a lifetime experience being up there!
Both girls LOVED meeting the characters, hugs, the "real people" talking to them, and of course the rides & shows.
We saw every show, parade, and tons of characters. We spent 1/2 day Sunday, all day Monday, & 3/4 of the day Sat at MK; 1 day each at AK, HS, & Epcot. One day should have been a relaxing pool day, but it rained so we checked out other resorts before the evening MNSSHP.
Before this trileft felt very lost in the "lingo", size, so much to see, etc....BUT once there were started to get the hang of things. We were glad I last minute purchased a rain cover for the stroller, it never came off because of the daily down pours. I packed traveling coloring packs & princess/fairy paper doll kits & I'm glad, because it kept the girls occupied through meals. I also packed glowsticks for night time to entertain them & attach to the stroller for ID. I decided to make the girls their own autograph books using spiral sketch pads. Easy to flip, tie a pen too, & were personalized to the girls top characters. Received many complements!!!
We also went to the Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party & it was GREAT!! So worth it. The girls lasted the whole night, even to the 2nd parade, we met all princesses & their princes, the 7 dwarfs, & many other characters you don't normally see. great parade too & lots of trick or treating.
Only down.....both kids got colds by the 3rd night. BUT thankfully I called the desk at 3am & they opened the store, so we could get children's advil. And they were back to themselves for the last 2 days! Of course they shared the germs & now I'm sick
The Poly was a great resort. Great location too!
I'm truly amazed at how clean, and FRIENDLY all the staff at Disney is. We celebrated our 6th anniversary, so of course had buttons on & all the time got congrats wishes. summer turned 2, so she got cupcakes & special cards too.
Lastly......I'm glad we purchased the photo plus card. We have MANY amazing shots, & it took the pressure off of how to get me in the shots too. Well worth the money!
