My doctor's office just canceled-
the completion of our Level II tonight. They called me an hour before the appointment stating that they were 3 hours behind and their computers were down (they are a paperless office). Why would they wait that long? My Mom left work early and my husband canceled his evening clients  I'm so angry! Then the secretary gives me an attitude, asks if I am calling tomorrow to which I respond "yes" and hangs up on me  This is the SAME secretary who blurted out my weight at the front desk in front of two other patients a month or so ago.

 i'm so sorry. i can imagine how disappointed you must be. that secy sounds like a piece of work - i'd politely remind her that your medical info is "confidential" and you'd appreciate not having it blurted out in public OR mention it to the doc. when do you go now?

I would be more than a little annoyed!!!!!!!!!!
I would say something to the doctor the next time you were there. I had a nurse/receptionist cancel one of my appointments b/c they were running behind schedule and the staff..not the doctor..didnt want to stay. When I said something to my doctor he was furious..(it wasnt with my OB though).

I am so sorry that your appt was cancelled. I hate it when doctors do that. There wasnt another doctor that could have done the procedure??? I had the same thing happened to me once except I showed up there ( after taking the day off from work) and the receptioist said we left you a message and when I got home there was no message or caller ID. I would def complain to your dr. I am sure this receptioist is a witch to alot of people. You desrve to be treated better.

While the doctors in that office are very good - the staff leaves a lot to be desired there.

I have to call tomorrow morning for a new appointment. I can only imagine what they are going to offer me, next week I'm sure
