My dog seem lethargic
For a week now my dog who is 13 months old had been mopey and lethargic. I called the vet a few times but they are not too concerned because she is eating, drinking and pooping. She is just NOT herself. I am soooo worried about her.
I was going to bring her to the vet today but she ate and pooped. I plan to bring her tomorrow.
I am thinking the worst.

Oh no, I hope she's OK!!
Could the heat have caused a slowdown in activity? My dog got tired out quicker than usual. I hope it's nothing serious. if her bathroom activities have been normal that's a good sign.

Re: My dog seem lethargic
If shes eating and using the bathroom then thats a really good sign. Did she have a very eventful week? My dog gets lethargic when she travels with us and sleeps for days!

Re: My dog seem lethargic
I would recommend that they test for lyme disease. This is a common cause of lethargy in an otherwise normal acting dog. In the overwhelming majority of cases it's nothing to worry too much about. Antibiotics clear the issue and vaccination should be discussed. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected] if you have any questions that I can help with.
