My dog thinks that the nursery...

is HER new play room and that the new area rug is her new bed! YIKES!!! I've created a monster.

I won't let her bring toys into the nursery b/c I don't want her to think it's "her" space. I don't want to forbid her from the room either b/c that could be bad.

Any suggestions? My dog has been our "baby" for the last 3 yrs, so we all have some "adjusting" to do

LOL...my doggie loves to lay on my lap when on the computer too

We were nervouse about my fathers dog, because hes never been around a baby. We live in my fathers house.. but hes great with dd. When he hears her cry he runs to her and gives her the "can i help you" look.. He even lets her play with his toys.. (yes i wash her hands after and dont let her put in her mouth.. tho she has snuck them in a few times ).. They are the true picture of frick and frat.. they love to tease each other.

Were upstairs so havent had the problem with nursery.. but if he did come upstairs I would let him in her room, only if i was in room.. and would limit the amt of time due to the dog fur.. gets on everything and babies love to put stuff in their mouth. I would just keep that in mind.. your dc will adventually be crawling on that rug.
