My ds K teacher does not call me back
I sent a letter and left 2 messages and she does not call me back. Im just confused because im a teacher and would never leave a parent hanging. I know i have to call the principal now and i wish i didnt

My ds K teacher does not call me back
Is she absent or is this common? A lot of the teachers in my building have the flu.

I had this happen last year, only it was a third grade teacher. I finally emailed her and cc'ed the principal, asking if she had received my last 2 messages and requesting a phone call at her earliest convenience. I had a call back within the hour.

This has been a 3 week thing now. I just don't get it. I can't imagine she didn't get neither the note I sent in nor the 2 phone messages. I sent one more note for tomorrow...then I'm calling the principal.

Did she give you an email address? I have had the best luck with email for DS's teachers.

I deal with the same lack of communication with DS 1st grade teacher and it drives me nuts!

I'm glad she called back but 3 weeks is crazy. If I ask the kids teachers to call me they call that day. DS is in 1st grade, we mostly use e-mail... She e-mails me within hours.
