My eye was bugging out today
For about 20 minutes today, my left eye was seriously messed up. 1/2 of my sight out of that eye was squiggly and blurry ( I don't know medical terms)
I know that vision can be impacted by pregnancy but this is the 1st time in 9 months that anything like this has happened.
Anyone else had this happen?
Should I be concerned or call a dr.?

sorry just lurking but it sounds like something that i get every once in awhile - not particualarly preggo related - unless you get preggo related migraines - then it may be associated.
its called an occular migraine - google it. its normal, and very similar to a regular head migraine. the reason i think thats what you had is because it only happened in one eye and only lasted 20 minutes. was it followed by a regular headache?
anyway since you are pregnant you might want to go see your regular doctor to be sure - but i get these fairly regularly (a few times a year) and it sounds exactly like it. they are slightly different for everyone but you can google it and see pics of what your vision looked like. its def freaky when its happening but if you just stay calm and relax it usually works itself out on its own.

I would contact your doctor. Blurry vision can be a sign of high blood pressure.

Thanks.....yeah it was followed by a slight headache- mostly I thought b/c my students were being majorly annoying and loud.
