My eyelash growth update (in case you need some help, too)
I had posted a little bit ago about how my former long and lovely eyelashes ended up falling out, lash by lash due to a health issue. I used to have such long lashes and was left with sparse little ones.
Anyway, I read all the responses and looked into the more expensive products that some of you pointed me towards. I figured I would wait and try something at the drug store for cheap, being that the holidays just passed.
I bought L'oreal Lash Serum and have seen a huge difference already. I wear it during the day under my mascara (which makes them look really full when you layer them for some reason) and at night.
I've had a great success with it in such a short period of time, and for cheap. I think it was around $9.
Just wanted to share in case anyone experienced what I had.

Oh, me too. Anytime anyone here raves about something, I'm out in Target/Ulta/Sephora that day. I have found some of my favorite products based on reccs here.
I may post an "after" picture of my lashes later on. It almost looks like I'm wearing fake lashes!

Re: My eyelash growth update (in case you need some help, too)
Question for the OP. When you use this under your mascara, does it work like a primer? As in, does it help to lengthen and define the lashes before the mascara? My lashes are so non existant that I have to use a primer first. I was wondering if this would be able to do double duty and replace my primer.

I find it helps define them and give them a nice thick base to build upon. So yes. I would classify it as almost being a primer.
Years ago - not sure if they still make it - they has a mascara on the market that was double ended. One side was white and the other was black. You'd put the white on first, let it dry, then apply the black mascara. It reminds me of that - except the serum is clear.
Can't even tell you what a difference it made. Some of my lashes are now hitting my upper eyelid.
I love finding great stuff and telling everyone - I know it's hard to find good products out there that actually work.

OK thanks. I actually use what you are talking about- primer on one end, mascara on the other. It makes a HUGE HUGE difference on lashes as wimpy as mine. I will give this a shot. Thanks!

OMG I need this!!!! I have ZERO lashes. and the ones i have are short and thin and blonde. Do you need to let the serum dry before you put on the mascara?

Yeah. I do it and while waiting for it to dry, I apply primer to my face.
I also put it on at night before bed.

By the way- I should mention - you need to be consistent with it for best results.

Not a doc but I assume its safe. It's not absorbing into your skin. Maybe call doc to be certain.
