My first - someone offered me a seat on the train
during rush hour and I had my coat on so I didn't even really look PG unless you really payed attention.
I thought it was so sweet. I didn't accept because I only had a few more stops but it definitely helped me regain my confidence in the kindness of people!!

Re: My first - someone offered me a seat on the train
Good for you! I'm 29+ wks and the first time a man offered me a seat on the subway was last week! I've had 2 women offer before. I couldn't believe it took that long for a man to offer us his seat. This week I got a few more offers so my belly must be getting too obvious to ignore.

Re: My first - someone offered me a seat on the train
I had a similar story on the LIRR last month. I had an open seat next to me that I had layed my coat, etc, on....and even as the train car began to fill up, not ONE person asked me to move my things so that they could sit there.
Either they realized I no longer had a lap to put my things on, or they feared I'd go into labor on the train.

Aw very nice! That should be the norm and it is sad that such a thing is noteworthy, but I love hearing about when it happens.
