Yes - should I try it in color? Would it look better with the rest of the card?
Now you have me thinking...I am going to try sepia tone too

Re: My first attempt at Lucas' Christmas Card
i used to do graphic design pre baby and think maybe playing with the tone of the picture, you can enhance the eyes, try a color picture alter colors. let me know if you need help.

I'm not sure...try one in script and then the other. I don't know if it's my eyes, but when I look at the merry christmas lines, it seems distracting. Also..if Barb taught you this...try to make the merry christmas in the background a little more faded so I doesn't take away from the one in the front. I hope I make sense (it makes sense in my head).

Re: My first attempt at Lucas' Christmas Card
also i would play around with the fonts. i think the one you picked is cute but maybe hard to read for some. i sent out a card last year and used a cutesy font for her birthday and the elderly had try reading it.

You see...I love the font for the poem. I think it's so festive. I would keep it.

Yup - makes sense...I will go and play around with the color to make it fade more.
