My first Fix!!!
Very fun concept! I'll definitely make a few changes for the next fix. Both dresses are WAY too short (I'm not even that tall!) but I really like both shirts. Not sure about the necklace yet - wayyyy out of my comfort zone. If you're interested, please use my referral link!!

I had Sarah. I'm going to try and style the items a bit and see what you girls think. I want to love one of the dresses, but its so short. My coworker is trying to get me to try it w/tights & boots, so I'm going to do it and see.

I added tights/boots/sweater to this dress. I think it will be good for teaching b/c its layered, but I think I'd switch it for a nicer belt. Thoughts? Image Attachment(s):

Here are some more pics of the other stuff. The black shirt is a great basic. ITs machine wash. I styled it w/dress pants, jeans and w/a pencil skirt and belt. It is, however, the priciest item in the box.

Can someone please explain to me how this works? Where are the clothes from? All they just all different designers and you try everything and keep what you want? What is the price range of the clothes they send? I'm intrigued!
And I just want to add that I think everything looks really nice on you OP!

I agree! I also love that dress paired with the tights but not really with the boots. If you wore it with the tights and some flats or booties, i'd love it!
You girls are totally making me want to try this..........

Thanks everyone! It was like Christmas morning! Here is what you do:
Go here:
Stitch Fix
Then you make an account, fill out their extensive style profile (you can include extra links to pintrest. I write a fashion blog so I included that, etc) Its $20 a fix (I'm doing 1 per month b ut I think you can do more/less often also)
They send you a box every month with 5 items that they think you'll like. Buy what you like, or send it back. Your $20 fee comes off whatever you buy. No shipping and no SALES TAXXXXXXX b/c its in Cali and they only charge tax to residents.
You can choose a price range, and then after you get your first fix you can make suggestions about what you liked, didnt like, etc. Here are my items:
Necklace - $38 (kept)
Black shirt - $58 (kept - more than I'd normally spend but its black, nice, basic, machine wash, slimming, etc)
Floral dress - $48 (kept)
Black/white dress - $58 (sent back)
Blue/black shirt - $68 (sent back - I wanted this one but it was just too pricey for a shirt that wasn't a basic)

PS - If I would have kept all 5 pieces it would have been 25% off, so my total order would have cost $198
To be honest, $200 a month on clothes is a lot less than I normally spend, so if there was a month where I liked it all, I don't think that pricing is out of whack. I realize, as an English teacher, that my last sentence was just grammatically terrible, but I only got 5 hours of sleep so I'm not correcting it.
