My grandmother is in the hospital. Vent.

And she lives in Florida with no family down there. I feel so angry over this because my dad is still recovering from his surgery for prostate cancer, and my grandmother, who has refused time and time again to come live with my parents and tells them she doesn't need any help, is now making my dad feel guilty for not being there. W T F? I mean, this is the life you chose for yourself. My dad had her and my grandfather all set up in an apartment in an assisted living facility that was gorgeous and had two bedrooms so they could have guests. It was perfect for them. My grandfather was suffering from dementia and was weak, so there would be help for him if needed. Well, my grandmother moved her and my grandfather out of the assisted living facility and back to their house in a gang-ridden, horrible area of Florida and told my dad that he was a bad son for making them move there. Ugg. My dad was just worried about them being frail and living in a bad neighborhood. So when my grandfather died last October, my dad tried numerous times again to get her to move somewhere or with my parents or anything that would leave her more secure. But no.
How dare she give my father, the only child that has bothered to take care of her, a hard time? I really am so conflicted about being upset and worried for her and just hating her more than anything. My father is an amazing, caring man and he doesn't need this BS right now

I hope she comes around and moves up here.
