My Gym or Music Together?
Which would you recommend for a 7 month old?
Also, anyone know what the prices are? I've been looking at My Gym's website and for the Tiny Tykes class, I can't find out any info about $ or how often the class is. Do you just pay per week that you go, or is it a session?
Sorry, I can't make phone calls to them from work, so I'm resorting to asking you all! 
ETA: Anyone go to the My Gym in Stony Brook? If so, how do you like it?
Also, anyone go to the Music Together in Miller Place? How do you like it?

I did Music Together in Smithtown. It was great, but my son is so stranger phobic that he did more crying than anything else. It depends on your son. Is he more into climbing or hearing music?

Good point! She's definitely more into climbing than music, she's never been a mellow/passive girl, she's ALWAYS been moving! Sound like My Gym would maybe be better for her! Thanks

when my DD was 7 months I did both. I felt they developed different "skills" in each class.

How many days a week do you go with them? I tried finding $ info on their website but didn't, so I emailed them. The class for DD's age (7 months) I'd only be able to go once a week, so almost $100 for a month with only (4) 1-hour classes seems a bit much for us.
ETA: Just called them. It is $88/month, (4) 45-min classes per month, plus a $60 enrollment fee (50% off though right now). I've got to ask DH about this one though...

Bella's been going to Music Together since 3 months old and she's now almost 8 mths  and she LOVES it!! I think it's really great for kids

I think it depends on your DC's personality. I took DD to Music Together when she was about 7-9 months and she really liked it. But she was just starting to crawl and by the end of the class, didn't want to sit still anymore. We started My Gym after that and she LOVES it because she can run and play.

Yeah, I'm thinking My-Gym would be more for DD then, she rarely wants to sit still, and she's not even crawling yet

How active is your DS? I think if he isn't moving much, My Gym may be too old for him.
I never went to my gym, but DD has been in Music Together since she was 5 months old. She LOVES it. She started talking from the CD's. Now every morning she asks me to dance and play music. I am a big advocate of Music Together.

I have done both. For my DS, My Gym was a better fit. He is always on the run and he was able to get out all his energy. I went to Music together when he was 3 - 6 months. I think, for him at that age, it was good for him. Once he started to move though, My Gym was best.
