My home insurance just got canceled !! HELP!!
I just got a letter that they canceled our home insurance because we have an American bulldog.
We just moved in 2 weeks ago and this is our first home. We dont know what to do now and im freaking out. Does anyone know of any insurance companies that allow American bulldogs.

I have no advice, but why would your insurance get cancelled for having an American Bulldog?

I could be wrong but do you have notify homeowners if you have a dog? I don't have a dog but thought I read that here. Maybe failure to disclose?

When writing a new policy the agent shoul dhave asked if you had a dog and what the breed was, some carriers will not write certain dogs, some will make you sign a liability waiver for the dog, some don't care.
Have you ever had a liability issue with this dog?

This. When they came to take pictures, they asked what kind of dog we had and took a picture of him. Then I got a letter saying he wasn't an acceptable breed.

why would a bull dog cause insurance to drop you? aren't they lazy and sweet?
